U.S. Rep. Don Young Nominates Alaskan Students to U.S. Service Academies

Alaskan nominees are an outstanding group of students and leaders
 
Alaska Congressman Don Young today announced his nominations for 1999 of 24 young Alaskans to the four U.S. service academies.

Congressman Young, noting the high quality of the applicants this year, released the names of 24 Alaskan students he chose to nominate for the U.S. service academy appointments.

“I am delighted to nominate such an outstanding group of Alaskan students, who have demonstrated intellectual and leadership capabilities,” Young said. “I am impressed with the nominees and am proud to nominate these individuals to serve our nation in the various academies,” he added.
