I want to take this opportunity to address an issue that is on the minds of Alaskans and Americans across our nation: COVID-19, otherwise known as Coronavirus.
Coronavirus represents uncharted territory for our nation and to others across the globe. The federal government's capacity to respond is of utmost importance. I recently helped the House pass over $8 billion in emergency funding to accelerate the development of a Coronavirus vaccine, increase access to treatment and testing, and expand the availability of critical telemedicine services. There is nothing more important to me than the health and safety of Americans, and I continue to be in communication with state and federal officials to ensure the safety of our communities.
I am pleased to launch this resource center so that Alaskans can access a dedicated place to address their concerns surrounding Coronavirus.
As always, do not hesitate to contact me with any questions.

Paycheck Protection Program Assistance
The Paycheck Protection Program is an essential lifeline for small businesses grappling with the effects of COVID-19. This critical resource was created as part of the recently enacted CARES Act, and will help keep Alaskan businesses afloat and employees on payroll.
This is a new program, and understandably, there are many questions about eligibility, how to apply, and more. Click here for a very helpful resource page courtesy of the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
