White House tours are typically scheduled Tuesday through Thursday from 7:30 am EST to 11:00 am EST, and Friday and Saturday from 7:30 am EST to 1:30 pm. However, White House visitors may not request specific times of entry. White House requests must be submitted at least 21 days in advance under current security protocols. Due to the high volume a tour requests, guests are encouraged to make requests three months in advance to ensure the highest probability of acceptance. If approved, White House guests are generally notified two weeks before the date of entry by email correspondence. Included in this White House communication will be a boarding pass required for check-in and entry.
