WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today the Senate unanimously passed H.R. 623, the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium Land Transfer Act. The bill directs the Indian Health Service to transfer a 2.79 acre parcel of federal land located in Anchorage to the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC). Washington, D.C. – Alaskan Congressman Don Young introduced The Tax Cut Job Creation Act of 2010 (H.R. 4878) this morning. This bill seeks to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to reduce the rate of taxes on corporations that make certain education contributions. The Tax Cut Job Creation Act of 2010 will lower the corporate tax rate on earnings over $75,000 by 5%.
