Congressman Young Announces Changes in Staff

Washington, DC – Congressman for All Alaska Don Young is pleased to announce recent staff changes in his Fairbanks district office and his Washington, D.C. office.
FAIRBANKS Lanien Livingston has been recently hired as the outreach coordinator in Congressman Young’s Fairbanks district office. Born in Anchorage, and raised in Fairbanks, Lanien has more than 20 years of customer and administrative service experience in a variety of fields within the Fairbanks community. Lanien currently holds an A.A.S. degree in General Business and Entrepreneurship from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. WASHINGTON D.C. Jeremy Price has been promoted from Staff Assistant to Legislative Assistant, dealing with issues such as Transportation and Infrastructure, Budget, Government Reform, and Taxes. Jeremy joined Congressman Young’s office in October 2005 after graduating from Utah State University. He was born and raised in Salcha, Alaska. Thomas Ryan joined Rep. Young’s staff in January of 2007 as Staff Assistant and Systems Administrator. He will be handling constituent services (including flag and tour requests), assisting the Congressman and the staff, and is in charge of keeping the computer systems up and running. Tom is a graduate of Georgetown University and majored in Government as well as Psychology. Tom hails from Orono, Minnesota. Kevin Kennedy has spent the past three years working for Alaska-based company Arctic Power. He joined the office of Congressman Young in February 2007 as a Legislative Assistant. Kevin will be assisting members of the House Committee on Natural Resources, where Rep. Young is the Ranking Member. He will also be handling Telecommunications, Agriculture, Commerce, Banking/Taxes, and NASA/Space. Kevin is a 2004 graduate of Union College. Meredith Kenny has been recently promoted to Communications Director from Deputy Press Secretary/Legislative Assistant. Meredith has been with Congressman Young since April 2005 when she was hired as a Legislative Correspondent/Systems Administrator. Meredith will be running the media relations portion of Congressman Young’s office. She is a 2002 graduate of Saint Joseph’s University. # # # |
