Delegation Announces Grants and Contracts to Alaska Programs

The Alaska Congressional Delegation is pleased to announce the following grants and contracts awarded to communities in the State of Alaska:
Department of the Army – Office of the Chief Legislative Liaison · $10,115,467.33 contract to Ahtna Facility Services, Incorporated in Anchorage for continuation of hospital housekeeping services.
US Department of Commerce – NOAA · $353,155 to Sitka Sound Science Center for the Pacific Fisheries Data Program. · $3,400,000 contract to ASRC Aerospace Corporation to operate and maintain the agency’s Fairbanks Satellite Operations Facility (FSOF) located in Fairbanks, Alaska.
US Department of Energy · $972,000 to University of Alaska for Alaska Climate Data Center.
US Department of Homeland Security – FEMA · $9,708,333.75 to State of Alaska for construction of a new a coastal seawall protecting the Village of Wainwright.
US Department of Transportation · $1,217,947 to Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities for the repair or reconstruction of Federal-aid highways and roads on Federal lands.
