Alaskan Congressman Don Young released the following statement today regarding the resignation of John Katz:
“John’s decision to resign is a huge loss for the state of Alaska. I have had the privilege of working very closely with him for over three decades and there is no doubt in my mind that John’s dedication to Alaska and knowledge of the state are second to none.
“Having served eight governors from both political parties, John never let ideology get in the way of his mission, which was to serve the state of Alaska. I want to personally thank John for his service to the state of Alaska and wish him the best in the future.”
