Rep. Young Celebrates the Life of Mary Louise Rasmuson

Alaskan Congressman Don Young released the following statement today celebrating the life of Mary Louise Rasmuson, who passed away this week:
“Like all Alaskans, I was saddened to learn of Mary Louise’s passing today. In every sense of the word, Mary Louise Rasmuson was a fine Alaskan who worked to improve the lives of countless Alaskans. I have yet to find someone more gracious or someone who cared for Alaska – especially Native Alaskans – as much as Mary Louise did. Alaska lost a giant this week and I urge all Alaskans to take a moment and remember Mary Louise and the work she did for our state.” |
